I’ve never met Alexander Ross Charchar. I didn’t know he existed until a couple of days ago. I came across his design website accidentally and found myself in complete awe with his words in The Secret Law of Page Harmony. As I found myself “testing” and practicing the design theories he discusses I began digging deeper on his website. I was flowing through his design articles. And then the flow came to a crashing halt. I stumbled onto his post The Colors of Grief.
In this post Alexander describes the emotional pain of losing his daughter. She was twelve hours old: “With her went all the colors of my world” he writes.
Alexander uses his sense of design, his passion for creativity and the colors of the world to navigate from tragic loss to hopeless despair and back to wholeheartedness. His words bring peace to the meaning of life.
I felt compelled to share it.
